Jatindra Rajendra Mahavidyalaya ensures the safety and security of its students, teachers, non-teaching staff, visitors and material assets of the institution too by providing 24x7 CCTV surveillance system installed within the campus. The CCTV Surveillance System consists of 70 cameras in different locations to create a safe environment. Also, High-definition CCTV cameras are used to monitor every event and actions by the attendees and thereby to promote safe workplace and environment on recording of evidence of any kind of anomalous behaviour and occurring.
Cameras are installed in the Principal’s chamber, college office, classrooms, corridors, staircases, library, reading room, store room, parking lot, main gate, etc. along with the awareness message of being under CCTV surveillance.
The recordings are transmitted to a central storage as repository of footages for future reference. For CCTV surveillance two monitor panel is set up in the Principal’s chamber. All activities come to the notice of the Principal immediately and necessary action is taken if there is undesirable activity within the campus.
